I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and work for Adobe as a Digital Artist/Print Specialist but spend every minute outside work shooting QTVR, I love it! I still prefer MPW and my N90 but I shot this one with my digital for fast turn time and used the Studio(for the first time) to stitch. Hats off to the VR team at Apple! The Authoring Studio is truly an incredible tool, almost to easy! While I'm at it, Hats off to Rabbett who made this one possible!
This is a pano of Grand Haven in Michigan, the south east side of Lake Michigan. This is the spot where I jetski every weekend in the spring, summer and fall. It's also the spot where I almost drowned a month ago when my 750sxi decided to take off without me about 400 meters out from the pier head.(the waves were 8-10 feet, completely washing over the pier where this pano was shot) Oh yeah the jetski washed up 4 days later 12 miles north.
Equipment: QuickTake 200 w/ Raynox dsr-650 lens. Bogen 3036 w/ 3047 head. KIWI pan head. Images transfered on site to 190cs powerbook. Transferred again at home to 8500 where they were stitched with the Authoring Studio and 1.0 panos made with make pano tool.
